I disagree. Trump is not good at defense, but he can be murderous on offense. Agnosticsherbet Jun 2016 #2

Only difference is the year. It is very effective. I also think that she has a lot smarter campaign people that what we pretend ourselves to be on here.

Keep him busy defending himself and he will be easier to beat.

His Republican opponents played nice (mostly) because they did not want to alienate Trump's core voters. Democrats are not gong to win them, but we can drive them to vote for the Libertarian, Johnson.

If the Republicans go ahead and jump off the cliff at the convention and put the short-fingered vulgarian forward as their official nominee, it will be disastrous for them. If they try to deny him the nomination before the convention through some kind of rules-shifting legerdemain, it will be doubly disastrous for them. Their perpetually pissed-off base will at least troop off to the polls to vote for Trump and maybe vote down-ballot. But if Trump isn't on the ticket at all, they'll stay home in droves.

Keep Trump continually knocked back on his heels
(and over-reacting)
and this will the most gratifying election ever.

If there's anything that needs strategic timing, perhaps
its the clobbering of all the down-ticket GOPer who
are gonna have the darnedest time getting that
Trump slime off of them.
