But they made him after the 2010 midterm election when they changed the time honored tradition of working with an opposition president where possible and became the congress of NO. And like the upper class southern whites did with the klan, acted repulsed with the Tea Party nuts while actually using their racism. They never expected that they were actually the entire republican base and now have a candidate saying what they(the base) has always wanted to hear.
