Using the bathroom and who can use it idiocy

I originally posted this in the LGBT forum, but I think it fits in general, as well.
************************************

Can everybody please get the F*CK out of the bathroom?

I remember someone once asked Dear Abby if it was wrong to use the handicapped stall if there was a line. She replied that if you have to go that bad, you have a handicap.

That is relevant because we go into the damn bathroom for business. It's not business we delight in - it is called "waste". We don't go in there to make friends, we go in there to drop friends off.

I doubt that there is a single female concert/sports event goer that has not peed in the men's room - they cleared it out for us.

Do you think I want to go in a public bathroom? No. The toilet paper sucks. Do you think I want to linger in a public bathroom? Don't even attempt to make eye contact with me.

I could give two shits (ha!) if Vladamir Putin is on one side, and Kim Jong whatever Ur is on the other. If I have to go, we are all in the same quandry.

Get over the fact that someone you disagree with might hear you tinkle.

Tinkle, wash your hands and get the hell out of there. Nobody in there is any more thrilled to be in a public bathroom than you are!

A federal judge on Thursday ordered a rural Virginia school board to let a transgender student use the boys' bathroom, as he wished.

The ruling was another legal victory for a high school student, Gavin Grimm, who was born female but identifies as male, has undergone hormone therapy, and has legally changed his name.

A federal appeals court ruled earlier this year that public schools must allow transgender students to use the bathrooms that match their gender identity. It was the first such decision of its kind, and the Obama administration cited the ruling in its transgender lawsuit against North Carolina and in a letter to all the nation's schools.

In April, the appeals court declined to revisit its ruling. The school board has vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court ...

2. Charlotte Schools Set New Transgender Bathroom Policy

Schools around Charlotte, N.C., adopted a new policy this week that will allow transgender students to use the restroom or locker room matching their gender identity.

The policy, which school officials said was in the works for a year, may add a new front in the battle over a North Carolina law that limits transgender people to using the public bathroom that matches the sex on their birth certificates. Republican Gov. Pat McCrory on Tuesday argued it violates state law ...

The school policy, set to go into effect when classes resume later this year, includes a requirement that schools use the name and pronoun matching students’ gender identity on things such as yearbooks and diplomas. The district, which includes 146,000 students, said the new measures expand upon its eight-year-old anti-bullying regulation.

“This is about courage, understanding and compassion,” said Superintendent Ann Clark, speaking at a press conference on Monday to introduce the measures ...

I mean, if I have to submit to a physical exam, or a TSA scanner, then I'll just be squatting and pissing on the floor.

Personally, I won't be checking for junk in the trunk when my aging bladder tells me I gotta pee. Ain't got no time for that. When nature calls, I pick up the line pretty damn quick!

If anything, I could see it being enforced badly with people getting beaten up just for having to go.

Probably more so than men do. Men tend to be more about business in the restroom if you know what I mean. I think that's why more women tend to have an issue with a transgender person using the ladies restroom. All of it is ridiculous, but humans tend to make major issues out of the smallest of things so I am not surprised.

I don't "socialize" in the bathroom, whatever that means.

Ladies, anybody else "socialize" in the bathroom?

was at work we all had the itch and there were metal flakes in the toilet paper.

One of the restroom goers put it under a microscope and discovered that. (Pharmaceutical company - QC lab where I worked)

It sounds weird to my ears, even now, but they literally were using recycled tp with metal fragments. That was indeed an enlightening day in the ladies restroom when we all discovered we had UTI's, rashes and an itch down there.

The whole concept confuses me. Who *SPENDS TIME* in public restrooms? I don't want to be there in the first place and I certainly want to make my "visit" as brief as possible!

About how if they were forced to use the restroom which corresponded with their birth sex, they would make a LOT of people uncomfortable.

These people did not look anything like the sex they were born as and the tweets really exposed the problems with these fear-inspired, panicked bathroom bills

In any case, it's ridiculous on its face.

What did you go into the potty to do? I know what I'm in there for. I couldn't care less about what everybody else is in there to do!

How did we get so weird over taking a shit or having to pee?

It's a whole other level of mind your own business!
