The bond change follows a joint motion from both District Attorney Brian McVeigh and Abbott's defense attorney, Bill Broome, to allow Parker to be tried first. Broome withdrew Abbott's request for a speedy trial, and to have the two cases consolidated as originally planned ...
The joint motion also delays a "Stand Your Ground" hearing originally set for Tuesday, June 28th, until closer to the first trial.
