MEN support families and women are just working for "mad money". Single women will marry and make babies and quit working. Why pay women in equal positions the same as men? Been there, heard that, 50 years ago.

sick and tired of our so-called Progressive, Liberal colleagues here at DU who ride to the defense of every cause for justice and equal rights, human decency and compassion......

But

start talking about systemic mistreatment of women, and there they are with torches and pitchforks in hand....for example, they're all over here lately, JUSTIFYING paying women less because statistically, women put in fewer hours. Refusing to see that their rationale allows women who actually put in equal or more hours, have seniority, greater skills, etc. to be PAID LESS BECAUSE THE STATISTICS SAY SHE UNDERWORKS.
