(1,184 posts)Also, "singing to the choir"? You'd think she'd get her religious idioms straight.

That was one of the greatest political speeches I've EVER heard. Even if she didn't write it her delivery was masterful. Caught me by surprise. I've always thought of her as predictable, naive, tough but bordering on cringe...until today!! Hail the new political philosopher Queen! She's definitely VP material after that. Be ready for the 'surprise'.

(1,771 posts)Okay, so I have a slodey head. Wouldn't that automatically be considered sploding? If I don't have a splodey head am I safe to assume that it won't be sploding?
This is making my head swim. I need to get high. Maybe it will make more sense then.

The 'maverick' made one of the worst choices in history and while he's still alive, he could have succumbed to that cancer.

(17 posts)Palin must have been sniffing paint thinner before she made such a frivolous remark. I mean, has she even looked at the polls recently? They don't bode well for Trump.

(12,051 posts)mostly delighted that Trump is running because he'll be the easiest to beat, AND because he's at least not a religious fundamentalist theocrat. That's not to say that Dems are delighted that a Nazi like Trump could get as far as he has, because it essentially means that the country is f**ked in the head, but we certainly don't mind running against him. All we have to do is make ads using his own words.
Now, lots of Pub heads are sploding, for different reasons. The few reasonable Republicans left are upset that such a mindless nut is their nominee, and lots of the Pub leadership can't believe that the yabbo white male culture they have built over the past 30 years has taken over the party -- the nerve! They were just supposed to bow and scrape and tug their forelocks and vote as they were told to!
