Cokie is normally predictably centrist (in DU lingo that's "right wing" , but that's her shtick. To me it's actually helpful to get that on NPR without having to go to the real right wing radio station and listen to the full frontal, unfiltered, batshit tripe. (Although I do that on occasion to find out what bogus arguments they're pushing this week.)
I can't for the life of me think of why they would want to put Tucker Carlson on, though.

(63,208 posts)I have to admit that Tucker Carlson was as close to tolerable as I've ever heard him, in part due to the fact that he clearly doesn't like Trump.
Still, it would be nice if NPR made at least a half-assed effort toward a balanced presentation.
