Latest anti-GMO marketing gimmick...

I use this butter-like spread (hey, it's not expensive,) called "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter."

I just noticed on one side of the container, in red letters, "Non-GMO Sourced."

In a little paragraph under that, they say they aren't using any GMO products.

BUT...

"...there is some contact with genetically modified vegetable oils, resulting in a small amount in this product."

Like I've said before, "non-GMO" is a scam. A marketing gimmick.

... I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is corporate food made by greedy corporations who lie, lie, lie, lie to sell their products to the ignorant. REAL health-conscious people who know what they're talking about only eat small-batch, shade-grown, grass-fed, Non-GMO, Non-HGM margarine made from whole, unpasteurized milk harvested from the second left teat of a free-range unicorn on third sunday of every month.

Checkmate, science.

But we know they're all paid off by Monsanto. REAL non-GMO shade grown, grass fed, rock pink salt gets its color from the Sankara Stones: magical rocks bequeathed to mankind by Lord Shiva himself. They give the salt its myriad health benefits, and aesthetically pleasing color... though I can't buy a bottle of it without miscreant Thuggee trying to jump me on the rope bridge between my dirt driveway and carbon-neutral sod mansion.
