Chilcot's real tragedy?

It shows how inept the US press was, and how well the post 9/11 coverup worked, the lack of any actual inquiry, including any rational, "Professional" investigation of the horrible decision to invade Iraq.

Congress failed, the military failed, our media failed. And now Iraq is a failed state and home base for ISIS.

Congress, the Military and the media all succeeded in their goals of making billions in profit for oil companies and the military industrial complex. None of the aforementioned cares about anyone other than those making money.

and the interviewer had an Iraq vet rep on. He is pushing for more aid, especially for the brain damaged, limb-less, and PTSD victims.

They discussed (briefly) the report from across the pond, and then the NPR moran said, "Well, we had complete support for the invasion. There was broad support, no dissent, and everyone was on board."

Really? REALLY? We had riots in the streets of Chicago, arguing against the war. They were crushed by militant, over-armed, masked and heavily armored "cops" and had their cameras ripped up and smashed.

We had politicians telling us, "Stop, wait, think!" Not enough, but they were present and vocal. Unfortunately, Hillary was not one of them.

We had newspapers questioning what, how, why, and who.

And this NPR doofus claims that there was unanimous support for our little IraqNam invasion.

I remember Condi Rice claiming everyone believed Iraq was involved.

They hide behind that reasoning. Everybody was doing it!
