Time for everybody to love their neighbors as themselves.

But so many are too addicted to dogma or stuff or power to be kind to those who need it the most.

Demonize the weak and the poor, threaten and abuse people, bully people and they stop caring after a while. They just hurt and want the hurt to end. Some people can't manage to get past that pain and they make others suffer in horrific ways.

If we were truly a society that loved our neighbors as ourselves we'd spend at least as much to provide crisis and maintenance mental health services as we spend on football, pets and the pathetic, cancerous parasitic War on Drugs.

Cops , first responders, war vets, people who live in high crime neighborhoods all need access to mental health services, but of course it's more important that the Koch brothers and the big churches and the DEA amass more wealth, so never mind...
