It's a good thing for him that his brother is so smart. His brother got him to do the right thing: immediately surrender the weapon to the nearest law enforcement officer. It probably saved his life. Nothing but admiration for his brother who not only advised his brother to do the right thing, but so ably defended him to the media.

whether openly or concealed. Period.

I happen to be in favor of complete confiscation, and I realize lots of people disagree with me here. But if no one had a gun. . . well just think about it.

I do know that for a very long time (although I don't know if it's changed in recent years) that police in the UK didn't carry guns. Isn't it weird to think that in that time there weren't a lot of killings of despised minorities? Or that there weren't a lot of mass murders of innocent civilians? I wonder why that would be the case. Could it be from the lack of guns available to ordinary people? Naaah. Must be something else at work.

They lock up their assault rifles. If you want and vote for open carry assault rifles in Texas, this is what you voted for. It's what they voted for.

Last I saw it was still unresolved.

If it comes up he's innocent, it's one more sticky spot for their gun laws. He was black after all, and named a suspect.

So, which is it, Live Free or Die, or only if you meet the litmus test of racial purity?

Not directed at the OP, to be clear, but rather at the NRA, and their true believers.
