Split screen

The news is full of the horror of what took place in Dallas. That is appropriate.

What would also be appropriate is a split screen:

On one side, yesterday in the House of Representatives, as Democrats lined up one after another to plea for legislation to curb gun violence, and each was summarily dismissed via parliamentary device.

On the other side, Dallas last night.

It was awful watching the House during the day, horrific watching Dallas last night. Awful, chilling, and nauseating. The one following the other should have been compelling to meaningful action. Should have been.
