The judge also prohibited Strickland from accessing weapons or ammunition if he is able to post bail ...

Deputy Multnomah County District Attorney Kate Molina said a plainclothes police officer witnessed the event and was among those Strickland pointed the gun at ...

‘Given that Mr. Strickland pulled a gun on a crowd of people in front of the steps of the justice center, while he was heavily armed with additional ammunition and has prior police reports of possibly racially based threats is extremely concerning to the state,” Molina said ...

His actions showed a blatant misuse of the right to keep and bear arms. He was attempting to intimidate the crowd that he was agitating and aimed a presumably loaded weapon indiscriminately at a public crowd.

He deserves everything that happens to him and to pre-empt my GOP/NRA 'friends'...his RIGHTS are NOT being violated, HE violated the RIGHTS of others to assemble and petition for redress of grievances.

Considering the moron pulled a firearm on a Deputy District Attorney, I suspect that will happen.

First rule of firearms, you never pull a firearm and aim it at a fellow human being unless you intend to take that person's life immediately. That is the only reason to EVER pull a firearm and aim it.

On a plea deal?

Typically in a case like this the prosecutor offers to drop the gun charges in exchange for a high misdemeanor assault plea. That habit, of dropping gun charges, is one thing that needs to stop. Gun laws are no good if they are never applied.

Yep time to shut these fugging racists down - Don the Con has given them the feeling that the crap they post on RW sites can be acted out in the street. Take their guns and lock them up.

Strickland’s attorney, Jason Short, said that the $250,000 bail was inappropriate his client does not pose a threat. “He has been previously assaulted in his employment. He is a journalist. The reason he is at these events is because that’s what he does for a living,” Short said.

Strickland videos protests and posts them to a YouTube channel, “Laughing at Liberals.”

Hey Michael: It would appear that liberals will now be laughing at you. And you without your bang-bangs anymore. Too bad, so sad.

I read yesterday (at Raw Story) that this guy films women and minorities at events and then posts their pictures online, along with their addresses/personal info. Presumably so they can then be harassed by his followers. Nice guy.
