Jul 2016

After all, not only he has been married 3 times, like Trump, but, to the best of my knowledge, as bad as the divorce between Ivana Trump and him was, it was soft compared to the slimeness of Newt bringing divorce papers to his wife in the hospital.

Anyway, Rubio wont be at the convention, neither will Kasich (Republican governor of the state where the Convention will be).

Huntsman is too obscure to be VP, and Joni Ernst as already said she was not vetted.

But who knows, it could be Scott Brown. After all, he is as crazy as Trump.

and earned herself a Trump Tirade in response. It was her finest hour.

I honestly have no idea who he'll pick, maybe one of the Inner Circle of his understaffed "campaign" team. While the party will try to persuade him to pick a grownup as a running mate, Trump has never given any indication of respecting the party's kingmakers, not to mention the electorate, the media or the country, and will pick some lunatic of his own choosing.

"..After Martinez skipped a Trump rally in New Mexico on May 24, the two appear to be beefing."

That's too bad for Trump, since Martinez is a western governor, a woman, and a Hispanic.

She's also a New York resident. This means Trump would have to forfeit those big 29 electoral votes from the State of New York, but that's okay: considering the love New Yorkers have for Donald Trump, Hillary could sprout horns and a tail and name Chainsaw Al Dunlap her running mate, and still take New York.

Come to think of it, Chainsaw Al might be a good running mate for Trump...he's perhaps the only person in America who sucks worse than Trump does.

Christie's job approvals are too low for that. Pence is much younger than Newt and Newt is older than Hillary, Trump, or any of Hillary's VP potentials, Pence hasn't been embroiled in a fight with Trump like Martinez, and unlike Carson, knows about governing.

I think if I were Trump I would put a food taster and car starter on my Cabinet - especially if I chose Newt Gingrich as my running mate. Gingrinch would give his eye teeth to be president but can't get elected for little inconsequential reasons like that no one can fucking stand him. But if Trump named him VP then Trump were suddenly incapable of being president (because his vice president put a bomb under his chair, say) Gingrich would automatically become president.

little to lose, or a risk-taker who is willing to put it on the line for the hope of inner-circle power. I suspect most of those above would not throw away what they have.

Just guessing of course: Christie probably makes both lists. Cruz probably no for the first reason, but possibly as a supra-ambitious risk-taker; he might also count on God to remove barriers to power; bad, bad fit with Trump. Gingrich no, a sociopath who could act sucky for a while if it suited his purposes, but he's an insane choice that I'd assume Trump's advisers would be dead set against.

Guessing, Kasich might just be the ultrawealthy funders' first choice for their man inside even though he refused the idea, and might make a good sucker-upper, very religious, conceivably willing to try for a chance at inside power and influence on SCOTUS appointments, unlikely to be put off by the campaign's appeal to bigotry, but, unlikely or no, he may be the most likely draft candidate.

My money's on some dead-career person I don't know anything about. Like a "general." Reportedly, Trump thinks "generals" are cool.

As for Palin, (From The Atlantic article)
