"all lives matter"? so, suddenly, the right wing is allll about political correctness?

their delicate sensibilities are oh so offended that "black lives matter" doesn't appear to include them, so they have to insist we use a phrase that is more politically inclusive, in their eyes?

whenever they feel like saying something far more overtly offensive, they not only defend in on the basis of free speech, but shout down any objections as "political correctness".

but when *they* feel slighted, suddenly they call for political correctness.

reminds me a bit of the time scalia shut down the 2000 recounts because, you know, florida voters had equal rights to have their votes miscounted.

It's a lame passive aggressive attempt to shame BLM as it's clear that very few lives matter to a lot of the people throwing up this hashtag.

If human beings truly had respect for life and each other none of this would be necessary.

A predominately black church in my city was on the streets proclaiming all lives matter. Its not just a right wing movement it is a movement we all need to make to respect life and each other. ALL LIVES do matter. Not just lives in the US and not just lives of a certain skin color.

We are all brothers and sister's. All one family together on a rock floating through space and now more than ever we need to live one another and live together as one.

it's not a hard concept. treat black lives as if they're part of the "all".

so tone deaf and ignorant.

"All Lives Matter" strikes me as being similar in concept to things like "Heterosexual Pride" and "White History Month"- an "in group" feeling left out(?) and/or wanting to deflect attention away from "out groups" for some inexplicable reason.

Of course, Black Lives Matter isn't even remotely suggesting that "All Lives (Don't) Matter" but it's calling attention to the fact that African-Americans (many of them unarmed) are, in a lot of high profile cases, being disproportionately treated vastly different by law enforcement than most (armed) white people actually posing a threat.

What do you think the whole "War on Christmas" thing was about? And forcing everyone to say "Merry Christmas?"

How about "Islamic Terrorists?" Why do they insist we use their terms?

It has ALWAYS been about political correctness to them. Nobody whines more than a fucking RW Conservative, Republican asshole.

grievances of the BLM movement.

IF they really believed it, they wouldn't constantly yammer about "God Bless America" but instead proclaim "God Bless Everyone."

Friggin hypocritical and racist whiners.

"Not all men" or "It's not a democracy". They are rhetorical tricks that contain no real information yet demand to be addressed. They divert us from pointing out what is important and try to get us mired in trivial details.

Instead of responding to their non-point we should point out how empty they are by using cheap rhetoric.
