The GOP congressman .. who blamed President Obama for the Dallas police shooting and wanted to keep Harriet Tubman off the $20 bill was caught with a Confederate flag on his desk ...

“Like a lot of Iowans, I’m disgusted by his gross insensitivity to the millions of Americans for whom that flag is a symbol of racism and division, and I join them in calling on Mr. King to remove it immediately,” his Democratic challenger, Kim Weaver, said in a statement.

1. OK. This is not honoring his state's historical legacy. Iowa was a Northern State.

He is honoring Confederate values. Such as seceding from The United States. Such as keeping Black folk as slaves. Such as armed insurrection against the Federal Government that he cashes his paycheck from.

To hell with the dog whistles. Let's shout our racism from the rooftops.

No wonder this nut bag is considered a major player in Republican politics.

He is the face of the Republican Party, and I am amazed that the Democratic Party doesn't capitalize more on his bare faced racism.
