Donald Trump's wall is in the GOP platform

Huffington Post's headline this morning indicates that the GOP Party Platform will include the Mexican border wall.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/gop-platform-border-wall-trump_us_5785a387e4b08608d3322c02

What is wrong with these people? Mexico will not pay for the wall. It will be incredibly expensive, (conservatively, more than $5 million per mile X 2000 miles = $10 billion +). Most US citizens don't want the wall.

But the kicker is that we don't need the wall. There isn't a massive problem of porosity at the US/Mexican border.

This is among the dumbest, un-American things the Republicans have ever done. They're idiots.

Didn't Ronald Reagan say something about tearing down a wall?

In fact, I'm not concerned at all about the Republican platform. They've always loaded it with goodies for their crazies, few of which they actually try to accomplish.

My reason for posting the link, DetlefK, was to highlight just one of their insane positions.

Trump is lunacy bordering on performance art.

I hope everything he's done comes out to be one big joke at the expense of the assholes that support him and his over the top rhetoric.

3. Imagine the Republicans reaction when Mr. Trump crashes and burns

It's inevitable that Donald Trump will either fail or bail. It's in his life and experiences as nearly everything he's done has been unsuccessful. The few achievements he's made are de minimis compared to the failures. The one constant is that Mr. Trump ends up being the one NOT holding the bag at the end.

Republicans are going to freak out as the fall campaign unfolds.
