If you take a football which is at normal pressure at 70 degrees and put it in a freezer for a couple of hours, the pressure will be measurably less. If you bring it back to a warm room for a while, the pressure will be back up.

Everyone forgot about this (or never understood basic science in the first place). That includes the NFL management.

But then, football people are now known for academics.

the Brady Balls were under inflated by more than 2 pounds, but the Colts footballs were not?

Did the equipment man have a secret freezer in the bathroom he ducked into before delivering the Brady Balls to the field?

Patriots revisionist history would have you believe "well it's January in New England, it must have been 30 degrees out"

I live 30 minutes from Foxboro. When I got in my car at about 11 that night after watching the game, it was a balmy 53 degrees. There was also a stiff breeze that I'd consider unusually warm.

Something tells me that a multimillionaire professional athlete whining about a suspension won't exactly jump to the top of their list.

....Boston fans would be the first to complain.

Then again, the Patriots would have moved ages ago if they hadn't won anything. The Boston love affair with the Patriots and football is a massive bandwagon crock. Football wasn't invented February 4th 2002.
