Neil Young and TIDAL Create Environmentally Conscious Subway in NYC

Neil Young is teaming up with TIDAL to present a special installation in the New York subway system called TIDAL X Earth. The project is aimed at informing the public more about the environmental issues about which Young frequently speaks out and will turn one of Manhattan’s subways lines into a moving public service announcement.
The S shuttle line the runs between Times Square and Grand Central will be adorned with images of trees, water, clouds and other “earthy themes” and will display various environmental facts. See images of the outside an inside of the train above and below.
Tomorrow, TIDAL subscribers can receive a free round-trip pass for the Earth Train from 12pm-3pm at the Grand Central S train platform. All those who participate will receive three-month TIDAL membership vouchers.
