He's done a couple of conservative issue ads but that's about it.

And he actually does some decent things to practice his faith instead of just being a showboat.

As fundamentalists go, he's far from the most obnoxious that there is. Take that as you will.

And I don't think he ever offered himself as a speaker. Someone probably had wishful thinking and floated his name as a speaker and the press ran with it. So both your read on the situation and your anger appear to be misplaced.

In all likelihood he's probably a registered Republican, but I'm still glad he wanted no part of Trumpapalooza.
