Last night I saw the film "Iron Jawed Angels." A very accurate portrayal of the fight to bring about the passage of the 19th Amendment. Those women were publicly brutalized.

Find it on Netflix, Roku, HBO or at you local video rental store.

The hand on her throat was mild compared to what the suffragist women endured.

I did a quick search on the first photo (using a text search) and didn't find it. Maybe someone can find it doing an image recognition search.

I try to defend police, but when I see sick stuff like this, I want to puke. What is wrong with out police that they think this is a proportionate response???? What did she do to deserve that?

I believe this is illegal, but am no lawyer, and who is going to complain to an up-armored lunatic in full battle dress.
