Trump/Pence interview of 60 Minutes

I liked that Leslie Stahl called out Trump for sayig it being ok that Pence voted for the Iraq war but Hillary wasn't allowed to vote for the Iraq War.

Liar iiar pants of fire - Trump - I would want him (Pence) to tell me if he disagreed wtih me.

General impression: Trump has no intention of seeking Pence's advice or input on anything. He is on the ticket but he is not "in," and never will be. The awkwardness between the two of them is palpable.

And why the gold chairs? For the love of Pete.

thought he'd need somebody to appeal to the fundies and who didn't sound obviously certifiable every time he opened his mouth. They barely know each other. The gold chairs are because Trump thinks gold stuff is evidence of class - the more gold-plated things you have, the more class you have. His whole apartment looks like Versailles as redecorated by Saddam Hussein's pimp.

...Claire McCaskill predicted that Trump would choose Pence because he was the most handsome... She said Trump was such a narcissist that he would be thinking about how they looked on magazine covers and campaign posters first and foremost.

But why not choose Christie so he'd look thinner by comparison, or Gingrich so he'd look younger? And did you notice that the gold chair Trump is sitting on is bigger than Pence's gold chair?

It's all so weird and hilarious.
