What sort of dystopian reality am I in right now? This is just bizarre.

Now would be a really good time to make me a believer in divine intervention, or for aliens to show up.

He's not getting much applause during this "trade" sequence of his speech. Anything that helps workers is nothing they're interested in hearing.
