We Marylanders get a fair share of Virginia news, and Kaine always seemed very popular, which is quite a feat for a pro-gun-control politician in Virginia.
Although he's no ultra-progressive crusading firebrand, he aligns nearly exactly with Pres. Obama's views (TPP included).
I was rooting for Warren as Veep, but truth be told, her talents would be wasted as a muzzled second banana.
