Finally! Someone Said It! Mitch McConnell Brags About Obstructing Obama

http://www.liberalamerica.org/2016/07/20/mitch-mcconnell-brags-about-obstructing-obama/

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has some big balls, apparently. He spoke at the Republican National Convention, and he outright admitted that Republicans have been obstructing President Barack Obama during his entire administration.

McConnell said:
“We put Obamacare repeal on the President’s desk. He vetoed it. Donald Trump would sign it.”

“We passed a bill to finally build the Keystone pipeline. Obama vetoed it. Donald Trump would sign it.”

“We passed a bill to defund Planned Parenthood. Obama vetoed it. Donald Trump would sign it.”

"On that sad day when we lost Justice Scalia, I made another pledge that Obama would not fill his seat,” McConnell said Tuesday night at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

...

When it comes to picking a Scalia successor, McConnell said, “that honor will go to Donald Trump next year.”

blown constitutional crisis on your hands

Nothing short of the presidency and at least a senate majority will change the vicious deadlock strangling orderly and honest government to the US

This election is a lot more crucial than the Nixon and Reagan wins This one will be the achievement of Mussolini's dream if Trump wins

This just emphasizes how important this election is. Repugs call her election "Obama's third term". If we can't take back the senate, McConnell will continue to obstruct the new administration and it really be the same. Koch's are now concentrating on the other candidates with their money. They are really getting all the judges they can in their pocket. It's scary to watch what is happening states wide.

Ago. Out country was in a financial death spiral. Iraq was still a disaster. Our nation needed leadership and action. But the gop leaders got together that night and swore they'd do everything possible to keep Obama from having a successful term. Screw everyone who was out of work or losing their home. They committed treason that night, as far as I'm concerned.

my senator will return to the Senate. We need to win some more seats this election and flip the Senate.
