TV media want a Trump win, not a horse race.

Everything comes back to profit. Think about it, who would be better for the cable news business? Hillary, or Trump? Some of them have already expressed their glee at what Trump has done for their profits. You think they want this to end?

A Trump presidency would complete the revolution of TV cable news into that of high drama entertainment. There would never be a slow news day with that clown in the White House. You see how CNN is with plane crashes? Think about how excited a 4 year train wreck would get them. Under Trump, Most people would be so terrified as to never turn off the news, and they know it.

These news execs know full well Trump would be bad for America. But he would be great for their programing, ratings and profit. Trump's White House would be a 24/7 reality TV show. The buffoonery, civil unrest, unhinged press conferences and endless scandals would be merely the intro.

Hillary will prevail and demographics will be why, but in the interest of public health, don't get caught up in the BS that is cable news.

with house investigations and the threat of impeachment being lobbed out there even before she takes office?

c'mon, they'll make a ton of money with hillary as president.

plus, it's not as if trump will fade away. with hillary as president, trump will go on a speaking/book tour and make many appearances on fox and other outlets (trump tv?). they'll make money off trump as well even when he loses.

They will risk keeping the race close for the horse race ratings aspect, but you can bet your sweet ass that Fox and CNN especially want Hillary to win. They do far better with a Dem in the WH they can whine about. Hell, a Hillary WH might even resurrect Rush Limbaugh's failing show.

9. If Les Moonves is to be believed

And as the head of CBS. who would know better than Moonves? He said the popular media are propping up Trump because he's such a ratings bonanza. Who knows what the short-fingered vulgarian will say next? Tune in tonight for more breathless speculation and gossip!

Right now the subject du jour is about Democrats in disarray, an oldie, but a goodie. Please note that while the Republicans showed complete and total fractiousness, the media focused like a laser on how swell it was for all those people named Trump to speak in prime time. Not a word about every former Republican president avoiding Cleveland like it was, well, Cleveland. And the only living Republican nominee who saw fit to attend was Bob Dole.
