Possible mass shooting thwarted in western Pennsylvania

Man arrested fter entering Center Twp. movie theater with gun, ammunition.

CENTER TWP. -- A Georgia man was taken into custody after he entered a township movie theater with a box of ammunition and stolen semi-automatic handgun, police said.

William D. Gossett, 21, was stopped by Center Township police at about 7 p.m. Saturday at Cinemark Theater, 99 Wagner Road. According to a police report, officers noticed Gossett walking around the theater carrying a large bag and wearing long-sleeved army fatigues, despite the 94-degree weather.

Police said Gossett noticed officers and immediately walked into the bathroom.

Officers approached Gossett, who told them he was going to see the movie "The Purge," police said. According to the report, Gossett gave police permission to search his bag, where they found a gun and ammunition. Police said the gun was stolen from Columbiana, Ohio.

Could have been a very different outcome.

Without diminishing the shocking racist crimes committed with impunity by some cops, in this case they certainly appear to have done their job.

but a few simple questions that the authorities should be able to ascertain and publicize are:

What's Gossett do for a living in Georgia, is he from there, what's his background there?
Who got their gun stolen in Columbiana, how and when was it reported, is Gossett known in Ohio, are there people there who claim interactions with him?
Does he have any connection to Beaver or Center TWP, any people on the record interacting with him there, or incidents reported involving him?

The repugs are running on fear, 'we're all in danger of being killed all the time', etc. So we get a fundy anti-gay gun nut, who's a 'Dem Moslem', that shoots a large number of mostly minority gay people, whose family got to immigrate to the US under Raygun/bush, while that admin was backing the Afghan 'freedom fighters' -- sort of like the Tsarnaevs coming into the country under bush/Cheney, while that admin was illegally kidnapping and renditioning even American Moslems. Then right after 2 high profile racist executions of Black guys by business as usual cops, we get one well-armed wackjob killing cops who is hooked into the Dallas Nation of Islam and the fake 'New Black Panthers', then another killing of cops by a crazy Black 'sovereign citizen' which served to knock Sterling and Castile's murders off the radar, and set up a false 'both sides do it' dichotomy.

Could they wind up these lone nuts and send them off, and would they, to drive home their 'policy positions'? Yeah. Answers to some questions about Gossett could show he's part of that pattern.
