I am truly glad that I was on hand last night to watch the Senator from Vermont be a gentleman and a patriot, both in the truest sense of the words.
Unity......because that's what America needs.

(10,893 posts)As a former Bernie, now Hillary guy can I say I told you guys so.
I knew he would live up to his word.
He loves this country.
He will now do whatever Hillarys campaign asks him to do to help her win.
Thank you, Bernie. You did not let me down, just as I knew you wouldn't.

(10,893 posts)And speaking of my area, the newest poll out of Georgia shows Trimp up by only two points here.
Dare I dream that we could actually turn Georgia blue again.
Imagine on election night, Georgia being called for Hillary.
Repub heads would explode!

(26,313 posts)There was a whole lot of snark flying, last night, but Senator Sander's did a magnificent job of, once again, throwing his support behind our candidate, Hillary Clinton.
If people respect him enough to support him, then they need to stop, take a breath, blow their collective noses, wipe their collective eyes, open their collective ears and LISTEN.
The best and the brightest of our party support Hillary, and that's good enough for me. Those now proclaiming that they will throw their votes to Stein or Johnson are, IMHO, passively throwing their votes to Trump. Their choice. Their conscience.

It was a bit anti-climactic after speeches by Michelle, EW, Booker, Cummings, Silverstone and Samoza, but it did the job.
