Who are these People?

Do they not realize that they are giving the hard right racist/homophobic/nationalist party a lift just when it looked like Trump was hitting bottom.

Just saw a live event on T.V consisting of anti-Hillary Dems and Green Peace Supporters..and it had substantial numbers.

Jesus Christ...Stein supporters, ....a vote for Jill Stein is simply a vote for Trump.. Yea I know you remember Bush vs Gore.. How did you feel the day we invaded a country which was not an imminent threat to us, killing or injuring millions of innocent people also including thousands of our own military troops.

Anti-Hillary Sander’s supporters?..You are helping Donald Trump’s Campaign in its effort to put him in the White House.. a concept which is almost impossible to imagine.. He’s fucking crazy and will have the ability to cause such havoc and destruction upon mankind that ...oh fuck it,.. someone else complete this ..

To my fellow Duer’s 2 questions.. Are these Hillary Haters all registered Dems, are they plants or are they just plain bat-shit crazy?

Sure, you've got the right to hate Hillary and vote for the Green or Libertarian, but that decision doesn't aid to prevent Trump from winning and would have the same outcome as voting for Trump himself.

Remember the day after the Brexit vote all of the people who voted to exit who then A. Didn't think it would really happen or B. wished they could have a do over so they could vote differently. Consider that your warning.

Vote to defeat Trump, then afterwards raise holy hell to get traction for your other ideals. Look at the Democratic Platform that Bernie was able to affect.

Don't let the Perfect be the enemy of the Good. Hillary will be a good President compared to Trump, even though Bernie would've been great.

Unfortunately, that is the world as we know it. Don't like it? Work to change the two party system.

As it stands right now, if you don't vote for Clinton, you are, in effect, voting for Trump.

If you live in the real world, you will see this.

Trump is a clear and present danger.

Selfish people who care more about their own feelings than they do about the reality we find ourselves in will elect Trump. We didn't believe it could happen in Bush Gore and look where that got us.

Speaking out on candidates is exercising a right. The right of freedom of speech. Are you exercising your rights when you speak out against Trump? I think that Trump is unfit to be president. Am I exercising my rights or helping someone else get elected?

Freedom for supporters of the government only, for members of one party only, no matter how big its membership may be is, no freedom at all. Freedom is always freedom for the man who thinks differently.

Bush and Gore for the Iraq war.

Bush's election is the root cause of the Iraq war.

I don't think that Gore would have ignored the intelligence reports that Bush ignored in the summer of 2001. I wonder if the 9/11 attack would ever actually have happened if we had had President Gore.

And I know that Al Gore wouldn't have lied to Congress concerning post-attack intelligence in order to start a war.

Beyond your own offended sensibilities?

First of all, I'm sorry if you didn't notice the broad, deep, anger expressed by the American public this last year, Republican, Democrat and all sorts of others.

Did you think it was going to go away by nominating an establishment candidate?

Secondly, Jill Stein has a pretty interesting response to your opinion, and she's got a point. DISCLAIMER: I am not supporting Jill Stein's campaign in any way. I'm just pointing out that a solution to your accusation has been available for quite some time. I won't post what she has to say about it, but if you cared, you could find it. It's about voting reform. And I've heard plenty of Democrats talk about the same reform.

Finally...Democrats angry at Clinton and the Democratic Party establishment aren't "helping Trump." They don't support Trump. If you really cared what they thought, you might have paid attention LAST summer. It's democracy. People are allowed to express dissent in a democracy. If establishment Democrats don't like it, they ought to rename the party.

Or, perhaps, in that spirit of "unity" we keep hearing about, they might try paying attention, listening, and extending some of the respect and compromise they themselves expect.

The fact that you can conflate Republicans, democrats and all sorts of others speaks volumes about what you believe in. Then you state that " Democrats angry at Clinton and the Dem party aren’t helping Trump”? Then go on to state “Its Democracy”?

Sounds as though you have very little concern with Donald Trump.. You didn’t mention him once during your whole post.. This is is punk who could devastate mankind id elected and your talking about extending some respect to others who disagree with you? I have absolutely no respect for any Dem who
feels “respect and compromise" is the way to deal with this current situation, meaning Donald Trumps’s candidacy .

By the way this is not the time to discuss “voting reform”..The only thing we should be discussing is the horror of a Donald Trump's presidential aspirations .

Sorry. I'm not going to honor him with that kind of power. Why would I mention him? He's not worth, to me, the oxygen to do so. I'm not going to spend the next months gasping and agonizing about him. I will vote to defeat him, which is what counts.

You didn't ask a question about Trump. You asked a question about Democrats at the Democratic Convention. I answered it. And I pointed out that the anger that offends you is not restricted to Democrats.
