(9,359 posts)Good policy with plenty of smart people around you can be quite effective.
Personally, I find a president's primary job to be selling policy to the public. It's the one common denominator between Bill Clinton and Reagan. I believe Michelle to be a voice that people will positively respond to.

(1,621 posts)She has always had issues with her husband running for and holding political offices because of the disruption to the family. I wouldn't be surprised if she continued to serve the public as a private citizen, but I'm guessing she is relieved that this part of their lives is almost over.
