I'll certainly take it.
What a blessing to experience the last eight years and I have a feeling, 50 years from now, we'll look back at Pres. Obama with such gratitude and inspiration as we did FDR, JFK and RFK.

(78 posts)What is his "ask not" or "the only thing we have to fear"? He's given alot of good speeches but there hasn't been that instant tagline. It's the only thing he's really missing.

Yes, I loved Bill Clinton and still do, but Barack Obama has been the one closest to my heart for his steady, calm demeanor in the face of such terrible racism, and his progressive policies.
He's going to be a very tough act to follow.

(53,521 posts)I wish he could have ran for a 3rd term. I was born in 1986 and IMO he really is our generation's JFK, it was us Millennials who got him elected and reelected.
