From what I have read and heard on the morning news maybe it was good that I did. I don't think I would been able to fall asleep for hours if I had heard him speak. What a man and what an endorsement. I do think there is still a place for President Barack Obama after he leaves office in Washington to a new work place at 1 First Street, NE.
It is about time that our great states-persons are not shuffled off to obscurity in America but continue to grace us with their wisdom.

(12,157 posts)I have no cable and strict data caps. That's one of the privileges of living in the country, along with bright red neighbors. Speaking of the former there seems to be a growing unease with the path they are being lead down.

(12,157 posts)that had any understanding of grammar and syntax thanks to my Mom and Dad. Know after living with these illiterate yahoos for all these years is it any wonder I can still be mostly understood in speech and writing. BTW my spelling always sucked.

He talked about the reality of the US: most other nations still look to us as a beacon of hope and freedom, and that we have what it takes to solve our problems.
