Fox News Totally Non-Racistly Reminds You That Slaves Who Built White House Were "Well-Fed"

Well, why didn't you say so?
TOMMY CHRISTOPHER

Only on Fox News would you see this kind of reaction to First Lady Michelle Obama's triumph of a speech at the DNC Monday night. If you recall, she used the line about the White House being built by slaves, a reference she's used before...

I understood this much by the time I was four years old, if your horses are not well fed, they don't work as well. Bill O'Reilly is a complete idiot for saying something like that, not to mention how would he know if it is fact.

They probably planted, tended, and harvested the food. They fed, watered, and processed any animals raised for food. The cooked, and then served the food, not just to themselves, but also to everyone else who lived in or visited the house. Then, they washed the dishes, and scrubbed the kitchen. They earned those meals.

Billo would have you believe that the President and First Lady served the slaves food from a silver tray. Racist idiot.

Then they caught, cleaned, and cooked it themselves.

And Bill O'Reilly is still a racist idiot.

Abigail Adams has the distinction of being the first First Lady to reside in the White House. Construction was ongoing when the Adamses moved into the place. This is an excerpt from a letter Mrs. Adams wrote to Cotton Tufts upon taking up residence in the newly opened White House.

“The effects of Slavery are visible every where; and I have amused myself from day to day in looking at the labour of 12 negroes from my window, who are employd with four small Horse Carts to remove some dirt in front of the house. the four carts are all loaded at the same time, and whilst four carry this rubish about half a mile, the remaining eight rest upon their Shovels, Two of our hardy N England men would do as much work in a day as the whole 12, but it is true Republicanism that drive the Slaves half fed, and destitute of cloathing, or fit for re, to labour, whilst the owner waches about Idle, tho his one Slave is all the property he can boast, Such is the case of many of the inhabitants of this place.”

was from the deep south, not that all there are and there are liberals there - claiming the slaves had it wonderful. Cradle to grave medical care (yes he said this). Taken care of when old, in retirement. Some slave cabins are now used as B&Bs, they were that nice.

NOT BEING FREE is the problem! Are they saying THEY wouldn't mind being owned by someone if that someone kept them in nice enough conditions they would be OK with it? Well no, because they are white. These people would have defended any class hierarchy so long as they felt like they were the ones on top.

And Pol Pot took half his country camping.

Concerned about type 2 diabetes, Chairman Mao instituted a specialized diet geared towards weight loss.

Genghis Khan: horse enthusiast & animal lover.

Vlad the Impaler: loved wood carving (especially carving pointy sticks).

Seriously, who are you going to trust? A history book or a world-renowned historian like Bill O'Reilly?
