Bradley Cooper at DNC: 'American Sniper' fans upset actor isn't really Republican

I understand their outrage. I'm still upset that Johnny Depp isn't really a pirate.

Newsflash, America: Bradley Cooper is not Chris Kyle. He just plays him in a movie.

The "American Sniper" actor came under fire Wednesday when he was spotted in the audience at the 2016 Democratic National Convention with his girlfriend, Russian model Irina Shayk. Cooper was a trending topic on Twitter as social media users were apparently surprised to discover he's not really a Republican after playing Kyle, a conservative hero, in Clint Eastwood's movie about the late Navy SEAL sniper.

The tweets are really hilarious. Read here:

24 was like some true documentary where torture makes the terrorist give up the codes to the bomb; that "good guys" with guns will win the day in a shoot-out with the bad guys, that if you get shot (just a flesh wound) next week you'll be bouncing off cars careering down the street.

They don't understand that FOX "News" is part of Rupert Murdoch's Entertainment Group. Yes, all the news stations, the O&Os, and especially the FOX Newschannel are umbrelled under the Entertainment Division.

And by the way, "Atlas Shrugged" was a novel.
