(17,199 posts)In the interview, which took place on Sept. 11, 2002, Stern asked Trump directly if he was for invading Iraq.
Yeah, I guess so, Trump responded. I wish the first time it was done correctly.
-snip-
Trumps comments on Stern are more in line with what he wrote in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve, where he advocated for a principled and tough policy toward outlaw states like Iraq.
We still dont know what Iraq is up to or whether it has the material to build nuclear weapons. Im no warmonger, Trump wrote. But the fact is, if we decide a strike against Iraq is necessary, it is madness not to carry the mission to its conclusion. When we dont, we have the worst of all worlds: Iraq remains a threat, and now has more incentive than ever to attack us.

So I'm guessing its.
1. Someone who thinks and says something.
2. Someone who doesn't pile praises of him.
Especially #2, "Someone who doesn't pile praises on him".
As long as people or organizations are "fair" to him, he won't try to destroy them, but even that isn't a guarantee if destroying them might benefit him.

I applaud Mr. Khan for speaking the truth about the hateful Cheeto. The fact the con man is unhinged is evidence of him being so thin skinned. He just put his foot in his anus mouth with his criticism of the gold star parents.

(5,815 posts)No way he will give it up. This is one of his main ways of campaigning...the lazy man's way to run for office. Just sit on your throne (porcelain or not) and send out your tantrums to millions of followers. Then wait for the media outlets to do more work for you by talking about your tweets ad nauseum. He's got this thing figured out and he is not going to stop easily. Perhaps if he sees a precipitous drop in his poll numbers he might get the drift that his strategy is not working...but somehow I don't think he will make the connection.

(17,199 posts)While the Arizona senator "responded with grace and forgiveness as only a man who was held in captivity for years can," Caroline McCain wrote, "Ive been nursing a grudge ever since."
"He insulted my grandfather and attacked the very qualities loyalty, bravery and selflessness that he and countless other POWs embody," she added.
McCain wrote that Trump never won her over during his candidacy, calling him a "misogynist," "racist" and "demagogue," citing his remarks on women and minorities throughout his campaign.

Scandals like this will only sink Trump in the GE. Which is great news for the rest of us.

(4,292 posts)Porcine animals serve a very useful purpose. Aside from their role in some food-chains, they consume waste materials, and provide some entertainment. To wit, Warner Bros' Porky Pig, Green Acres' Arnold, and -- of course -- Pearls Before Swine's much beloved character, known simply as "Pig."
Whereas, Drumpf is a waste of oxygen, water and other natural resources. The sooner he leaves our very fragile environment, the better.
