(13,798 posts)He is crazy, but it is funny that is Trump's building! You wonder if Trump didn't have something to due with, to take the pressure off of his stupid comments from yesterday?

(1,907 posts)Don't know what to think of it. Either what he considers setting a trap. Or he has been spending too many hours on the internet in freeper land. The news did say they moved people back from the corner he is climbing. One thing I saw was to me he doesn't look like someone who has done very much climbing. He has been having problems with his suction cups not holding, placement not setting where it is a smooth climb, and the overworking seems to be getting him fatigued.

(18,265 posts)I was in lower Manhattan the day Philippe Petit did his tight rope walk between the Twin Towers. There was a blind man near me in the crowd, and he asked, "What's everybody looking at?"
Over twenty years later, my FDNY husband watched one of towers collapse like a stack of pancakes. He said it was so riveting to watch that he was rooted to the ground before he realized he should run.

(10,419 posts)through our mess of a BART system. We took the stairs up to Market Street, and he said "It's a beautiful day. I can feel the sun on my face." He was going to the Post Office to pick up a package and said "I hope I'm not making you late for work." I assured him he wasn't, although I did arrive 2 minutes late.
My supervisor said "You're not officially late until five minutes. And if he was blind, why was he going to the Post Office?"
What a contrast in character.
lapucelle
(18,265 posts)But you can't blame your boss for being suspicious. The "I helped a blind man find the Post Office" excuse is so overused. Be more creative next time.
