Beyond that, I'm not sure what he's trying to say.

Is he suggesting that we heavily pollute the planet too? Or perhaps suggesting that we need to FORCE China to obey similar environmental standards?

Speak English, dummy!

The Con is trying his best, with his little hands and brain, to construct a sentence including the word "China" and something about air pollution. FAIL!!!

On a bad day they can hardly see a couple blocks. So that's supposed to be our goal? To make our air as filthy & polluted as China's? This somehow makes America "great?"

Looks more like utter failure to me.

1. Gives China a competitive advantage to use cheap fossil fuel so therefore we should also
2. Pollutes so bad that anything we do to cut our pollution has a negligible effect on overall world air pollution contributing to greenhouse effect (which they deny has any appreciable effect anyway)

See, Donald isn't much of a detail guy. He's more big picture, like W., the first MBA president, was. While W. didn't sweat the details on things ("in 50 years, we'll all be dead&quot , Trump doesn't have time to explain every last nuance and possibility to you lot. Energy. Coal. China. Stuff. Figure it out!

Oh, but if you come to a bad conclusion about what Trump was saying, then that's not what he meant at all, and fuck you for getting it wrong.

as "clean coal". Basically, the idea of it is to "capture" the CO2 burning off of it, and redirect the gas into the Earth. It's ridiculous.

Hard to imagine, but he might think the objection to coal is based on the idea that the pollution goes out "into the universe" - and since the planet is small and the universe is large, we shouldn't worry about polluting that big universe out there.

That a person over 5 could believe that is pretty mind-boggling, but it would not shock me if that is what he was saying.
