http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37066304Residents in the northern Syrian city of Manbij have been celebrating new freedoms after being liberated from the rule of so-called Islamic State.
They have poured into the streets enjoying basic rights they had been denied for two years, including shaving off their beards and smoking.
US-backed Kurdish and Arab fighters fought 73 days to drive IS out of Manbij, close to the Turkish border.
About 2,000 civilians being used as human shields were also freed.

OP
Congratulations to our troops for a job well done. And they did so without Trump's help.

but they're too busy reporting fake Clinton scandals and bogus Trump claims.

It's great that NBC is covering it.

Trump claims to love our troops, but he calls them a disaster. Trump knows nothing about military strategy and would have made a disaster Commander-in-Chief. I can't imagine the majority of our soldiers wanting a C-I-C as dishonest and delusional as Trump.

I wonder how they were able to free 2,000 hostages without the Daesh slaughtering them.
