Trump's very non-specific apology could have been broad enough to cover every public statement he ever made over the last 25 years, and it may have applied to more than two dozen different topics, but I'd bet that each Trump chump figures that the "apology" did not countermand whatever mating call attracted him to Trump.

I'll bet, for example, that the NRA types suppose that Trump was not dialing back his comments about "Second Amendment People" shooting Hillary Clinton and/or judges. Or that other fans of Trump believe that his marching orders about beating people up are still operative. Or that the various other Republicans still have the various defects that Trump attributed to them. Or that Mexicans are rapists and drug pushers.
