Top politicians there, both repug and Dems refuse to back or support Pres. Obama, and citizens in several towns in WV told Ms. Clinton she wasn't welcome, and booed Pres. Clinton and Sen. Sanders when they came to campaign. But since the flood 2 months ago, all of these politicians have stayed away, WOWK Huntington reports today that survivors of the flooded areas are angry that no one from Washington D.C. has come to view the damage. I guess seeing Pres. Obama and Slump in LA set them off.
The flood victims are getting federal assistance. Being just across the river from WV, we see on TV and hear on the radio constant reports and updates on how to get help, how to apply, where to apply, and really good details. When you allow a bunch of loudmouths to represent your state with rudeness and disrespect, I really can't blame the politicians for not coming around. My husband was born in WV and lived there until he was 12. He actually lived through the flood in West Union, WV in 1950. He is upset about the destruction of the floods and appalled at how the currently elected officials act, and how the people who took it on themselves to represent WV, act.
In spite of the bigmouths, I wish the best for the flood victims and survivors. The devastation and loss of life was horrific.

He was a Republican until 3 months before he began campaigning for WV governor. He didn't do anything except change what he calls himself.
