"And it's because he's sexting again , but this time he's doing it with his young son! Jeebus he's a POS and a detriment to the Clinton campaign."

A friend just emailed me something about this.

Now the press will probably be adding Weiner's sexting exploits to the the NON-Clinton Charity scandal concerning Huma and Wiener's personal lives. It's bad enough crazies on the right have said that Huma is part of the Islamic Brotherhood , but now Weiner's sexting again, but with his son next to him in the bed this time.

IS right.

I met that guy, over at the MSNBC Studios in NYC.

While he was having make-up applied to appear on the Rachel Maddow show, he called us in to chat with him, as we were sitting in Morning Joe's Green Room (a shared converted broom closet that sits four--stretching your arms, you could practically touch both walls). He started with a canned story about how when he was a young kid he wanted to run for his class office. He rode his bicycle around the block, handing out fliers and talking to the neighborhood kids. When it was election day, he says he lost handily because the other kid gave out lollipops to the class. That taught him a lesson on how to win people over to vote for you.

Wow! Retaining an elementary grade bribery story as a basic tenet of personal politics--amazing!

He's just handing out his lollipop to get some future voters. That's all!

It would be better for Clinton and likely for Abedin, if in the chaos of her personal life, she left the campaign. At this stage being that high in a campaign is nearly a 24/7 job. Abedin is a distraction at this point -- and likely replaceable in the campaign. It would be better to leave than to force Clinton to have to make a decision on whether to keep her.

Nothing would prevent HRC from giving her a top job in her administration when she wins.

Anecdotes are not data. The men I know do not have "issues" regarding Hillary, but I don't take their attitudes as data either. Nor do I consider the sexual weirdness of Anthony Weiner relevant to the election in any way, except maybe as being very embarrassing for his wife, Hillary's aide.

My husband happens to be an awesome man, but I am sensitive towards subtle clues.

Most men are definitely having issues.

I will agree that most men also think Weiner is an asshole. But that's beside the point.

Even the most ardent men who support Hillary Clinton, show signs of it.

It's ok, because that's how we learn and grow. But to deny it is disingenuous.

Sexism is indeed ingrained in our society. To ignore it is foolish. We will never overcome our ingrained prejudices is we continue to ignore them.

And Anthony Weiner showing off his junk -- again -- has exactly ZERO to do with any "sexism" against HRC or any woman President in general. That you attempted to conflate the two is utterly bizarre.

I appreciate where you're coming from. But what happens in a marriage is a private matter and, despite the publicity that is inevitable when political figures are involved, it remains a private matter to be dealt with by the two people who are the only parties to that marriage.

And that's as it should be. What goes on between a husband and wife is their business, and not the business of complete strangers on the internet telling them what they should or shouldn't do.
