Republicans propose ideological purity test!

Of the many exciting Republican ideas emerging in the 2016 campaign, proposal of an ideological purity test should especially capture our imagination

Nothing, of course, could be more American than requiring people to have the right beliefs if they intend to stay here. We can begin by requiring this for immigrants but ultimately we will want everyone tested

Basic history is critical. Real Americans know that Barack Obama was born in Kenya and that Hillary Clinton ordered Vince Foster's murder

Science is also important. Real Americans know that only Satan teaches evolution and that women cannot become pregnant by rape

Election law matters. Real Americans know it's okay to pass laws that make it harder for black people to vote. Real Americans know that gerrymandering legislative districts preserves our republican form of government

Our Constitution is basic to our way of life. Real Americans know that guns are the best foundation for our country. Real Americans wave the Confederate flag proudly and want to repeal the fourteenth amendment

Foreign policy should not be overlooked. Real Americans know Mexicans are rapists. Real Americans know the best immigrants are white Christians

Understanding civics is essential. Real Americans know county sheriffs are the highest law enforcement authorities in our nation. Real Americans know the federal government cannot own land and all national parks should be given back to the states

Education is non-negotiable. Real Americans respect Trump University graduates and wish they themselves had attended there
