(54,770 posts)I had to take my Father-in-Law's guns away when he started seeing ghost and becoming irrational from illness. He wasn't happy, being retired military and retired police -- over 50 years total. Thing is, he wasn't that big on guns, but I saw him reach for one in his night stand when my late wife was walking into the room to check on him.
These are accidents just waiting to hurt innocent people. Yet, we are told it's the price we have to pay to coddle gunners.

(100,068 posts)Although using weapons while intoxicated at the dentist - that brings up a million questions. Was he drunk before going to the dentist? Or was he high off the Novocaine?

(2,955 posts)Come on man. I'm all for the 2A, but bringing a gun to the dentist is just paranoid as hell. Wtf is gonna happen? What maniac in their right mind would pick a dental office for their killing spree? They'd just be putting the poor patients out of their misery lol!

Maybe they should ask you to unload your weapon.

You'd have to awfully intoxicated to mistake a pistol for a phone, wouldn't you?
