I am just glad at least the conversation about REAL inequality has started.

Right wing loves Trump because "he tells it like it is " and is not politically correct, but as soon as a person of color does the same thing he is branded a unpatriotic pinko commie by those same people.

Hypocrisy to the nth degree.

Of course, the ones throwing a fit about black people doing it ARE the problem.

What did people expect? Is this supposed to be a surprise? He's a football player rejecting a major nationalist symbol, most football "believers" are conservatives, and large numbers of conservatives are especially prone to worshiping symbols.

Kaepernick's doing a good thing taking this message to them, as well as everyone else, regardless of the costs to him. But he's also very young, barely past adolescence, and I just hope he is always glad he did.

When RW is not in power their message is America is a shit hole and absolute shit hole. They can say this but you cannot. Listen to RW radio and tell me America is great. All they do is complain about things in America (usually fantasy things) they hate.

This cartoon says it like it is more purely than anything. If Kaepernick is right or wrong... who cares his critics certainly have been doing the same thing for 8 freaking years. Forget standing for the anthem they shut the Fing government down for no reason than to spite the whole country!
