Dude in SUV nearly injures Target worker bringing in the carts...

Just saw it. Worker was out in the heat gathering carts. We were waiting patiently, but some rude ass in an SUV kept edging out and came | | <--that close to hitting the automatic cart pusher, which if he'd hit it would have injured the poor kid working it. Infuriated me. The guy was working. In the heat. Dude was in his Air Conditioned Land Rover. Obviously he needed to show the kid whose boss because he makes way more money than him and is therefore more important. I hate living in the land of red where all these morons are republican self centered bastards. The kid with the carts is working EVERY TIME we go Target and is always nice and polite. He deserves the same respect anyone else does. What the hell is wrong with people?

1. It's plain selfishness

I work with a fellow who, for the most part has his head screwed on right. he considers himself a socialist and is a really good union advocate. But every now and then he sort of loses his shit and rants on about how "we need a good war to clear the fuckheads out!" or starts ranting about something like, well, the guy pushing carts that doesn't get out of his way fast enough.

I think it's lingering effects of having mong-peddling dumbfuck republican parents who raised him in the hinterlands of Alaska.

Basically it's the attitude that -I- am the most important person, and everyone else is just scenery or, worse an obstacle in MY way of doing what -I- want to do.

2. Fast, everything, and everyone is just going to way to fast.....

I almost got killed when going to get my haircut....guy comes flying around in his SUV and has to slow down because I'm "hobbling" across the parking lot to the place where I get my hair cut. I recently broke my foot, and am in a walking boot and can't walk in my usual pace....so I'm walking a lot slower and he is pissed he had to slow down and we're in a parking lot!!! What's the speed limit in a parking lot, like 10MPH??? Oh yah, everyone is just to busy and going way to fast for conditions......

3. Only people in SUVs are rude, obnoxious

and inconsiderate of other living human beings? I'll have to remember that, it'll make it easier to spot those out for the kill. I've had people riding bikes on the sidewalk almost run me over from behind.

8. I actually differentiate between modest SUVs (Rav4, for example) and your

NaziMobiles (BMWs, Mercedes and Porsches), Land Yachts (Cadillacs, Lincoln Navigators, Ford Expeditions and Chevy Yukons) and assorted other ostentatious status symbols (like Lexus or Infiniti). It's these latter categories that find the highest concentrations of assholes and assholery.

7. Sometimes it's not about "showing who's boss"

Some people just don't care. They are so absorbed in their world, they just don't give a shit.

I saw a guy in a Ford F150 almost run over a lady who was crossing a parking lot into a grocery store about three years ago, and when he parked I almost had full blown fisticuffs with the guy. His basic reply was "Whathefuckever". Thankfully there were a few other people who witnessed it and gave him hell too because he knew to get the fuck out of there instead of try something dumb like take a swing. Piece of crap also had an anti-Duvall Patrick sticker, so you know what his deal was.

Land Rovers are expensive, unreliable gas guzzlers that will cost the owner a fortune and spend lots of time in repairs.
