Mexico's Finance Minister Videgaray, who helped arrange Trump's visit to Mexico, resigns

BREAKING: Mexico's Finance Minister Videgaray, who helped arrange Trump's visit to Mexico, resigns in wake of Trump's visit - Dow Jones

Mexican Finance Minister Luis Videgaray has reportedly resigned after helping to arrange Donald Trump's visit to Mexico last week.

Social Development Minister Jose Antonio Meade will take over Videgaray's position, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Reports surfaced it was Videgaray's idea to invite the Republican nominee to Mexico, though Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto later said it was his own decision, according to the publication.

CNBC reported Videgaray helped to arrange Trump's visit.
