President and Michelle Obamas Legacy Lives on in October Issue of ESSENCE
Its the end of an era.
After eight incredible, tumultuous, unforgettable years in the White House, the Obamas are preparing for their final days, and ESSENCE wants to send the First Family off with a hug and a salute.
President and Michelle Obama cover the October issue of ESSENCE magazine, in which they talk about their life in the White House, the state of the nation and the legacy they hope to leave behind.
I can unequivocally say that America is better off now than we were when we came into office. By almost every economic measure, were better off, President Obama said. But having said that, we still have a lot of work to do.

Both of these are great photos and the family is generally very photogenic as it is.
We subscribed to Essence mag for years and years when I was growing up and I know the Obamas have had a number of cover stories in that mag over the 2 terms in office. But I expect this will be the last one while he is President. Will need to make sure I grab a copy the next time I'm in the supermarket (it supposed to be on news stands September 9th).
Kudos to the President and his family for a job well done!

of much of the nation. In their early /fifties and Obama's a former two term President.
A hard act to follow but these exceptional people will be of invaluable service to the country and world for years to come. We'll not see their like again in most of our lifetimes.
Meanwhile in Dallas a disgraced former two term president sits on his sofa, a bottle of Black Jack in one hand and his limp d**k in the other and listens for a phone that never rings.
