Yes they got to go but they'll still be here after Nov 8 and they'll be one angry mob, believing they were cheated, that the system was rigged. Trump has them in a frenzy. It could get ugly.

"Moon Shadow" at Trump rallies in the lead-up to the candidate's taking the stage.

Trump rallies appear to be made up of people who could use a strong dose of Cat Stevens' "Moon Shadow." It's a tune that strikes just the right tone for the event at hand, am I right?

Whoever introduces Trump could tell the crowd, "Is that a beautiful song or what, ladies and gentlemen? You know he changed his name to Yusuf Islam."

And the crowd, ever thoughtful and inclusive, would burst into respectful applause.

The Clinton camp should arrange for its use in television ads between now and the election. Trump condones violence and polarization. Clinton needs to hold him and his supporters accountable.

when he said 'back' in the slogan on those caps.

There is no defense for his deliberate use of language to incite division and violence. None. The media are complicit because their ratings go up correspondent to Trump's outrageous and unethical behavior.

If Hillary Clinton's 'deplorable' comment has a flaw, I'd say that the flaw was that she could have made a much harsher assessment. If anything, Trump supporters got off easy.

to attack or call out any of the voters. I am reminded of Romney's 47% comment and it's results.

They may indeed be just as described, but what is the point of commenting on them at all. Assuming that HRC wins in November, then she will be President of these folks as well.

These comments have no upside from what I can determine.

Hillary was not talking about half of all Americans, but half of Trump supporters. And that may not be far off. (Perhaps it's "only" 40% of Trump supporters who are "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic&quot .

Yes, it probably would have been better had she not made the statement, as it may now dominate the news cycle and distract from all the REAL Trump scandals. But her statement I think is accurate.

That said, as I stated there is no upside to attacking his supporters even if she is absolutely 1000% correct in what she has stated.

This was an error in judgement on the part of the candidate.

usual corrupt ends. Agree.

But I believe Hillary Clinton makes a valid and demonstrable point with her 'deplorable' comment, and that it has the potential to help her rather than diminish her chances of election. Played well, the dialogue now shifts to what ind of conduct is deplorable conduct and from there, the easy step to ask whether Trump rally-goers exhibit this conduct.

I think even the most disconnected voter will connect those dots.

Hillary should leave that tactic to Trump. She gains nothing by insulting voters. She only descends to his level.

About the Trump supporters: "You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West."

They are poised, if given the chance, to have power behind their hate. We all know there's a percentage of people in this country who are deplorable - they make up the ugly underbelly of our society. Trump has given them a voice, he's normalized their behavior. It must be stopped.

I applaud Hillary for speaking the truth and we need to continue to shine a spotlight on those that don't value the lives of others.

They openly speak of assassinating her and libtards, as they refer to us, in general. Their hate obviously isn't self derived however, it comes from the alt-right wing radio and TV that seeds their brains. You don't want to call them brainwashed though. Just let them be. Use the energy they're spewing to motivate you to get voters registered and to early vote.

You silence them, by showing them they are in the minority.
