Pastor Allen Joyner says people who don't stand for national anthem should be shot

So...does this make you wonder if this guy serves the other side...

You know...

The 'Adversary.'

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/pastor-allen-joyner-national-anthem-shot_us_57d61590e4b03d2d459b0ec6?section=&

I mean, when I think of a real Christian, and I mean a real one - the message is love, don't judge, be kind, be merciful.

LOL. Looks like Joyner missed that part of the Bible, doesn't it?

2. Another Anti-American

Even though they had some serious faults I think the founding fathers would be freaked out over things like that statement. They seemed to be very wary of extreme dogma in their writings. And championed differing views.

17. The Founding Fathers were not so much into symbols

At least, they weren't into worshipping symbols as though they were deities.

15. After listening to this garbanzo, probably drink gin straight from the cat dish

Seriously, this obeisance to empire would be baffling to first century followers of the Way.

So glad the coffee was swallowed before I read this!

I stopped drinking 11 years ago, otherwise I'd be fighting him for the cat dish.

8. Pastor Joyner expects us to listen to him like he's sane...I don't think so.

Pastor Joyner is a wicked joke, seeped in Hellatious mockery of Christian Values. Shame on his ass.

10. That's in the Bible right? ... uh um, maybe not...

I am not a Christian, so I don't know what's there, but its a good guess that, that kind of message is not one of Love and Compassion, not even if they give you a pillow and a good cigar before you are shot.

Some of these guys are sick, sick puppies...they need a refresher course in their own religion.

14. ... Butler County Schools Superintendent Amy Bryan denounced Joyner's comments

in a statement to AL.com. "Patriotism should be a part of school events but threats of shooting people who aren't patriotic, even in jest, have no place at a school," she wrote in an email. "Threats of violence are a violation of school policy and certainly not condoned by the school board." Bryan said she didn't know if any action will be taken against Joyner. The school board meets next week, and the matter could be addressed then, she said ...

Apparently he's preaching to the choir. He would likely receive a similar response, just about anywhere.

Our country is not in a good place right now.

27. Pastor Joyner doesn't seem any more

acquainted with the Constitution than he is with the New Testament.

Some serious reading time in the local library appears indicated.
