Research has found that most of them really like that about themselves and feel contemptuous toward others for the constraints of conscience on their behavior (i.e., power over others). Also, people can have "traits of" without being so bad that they're considered clinically disordered, and there are a lot more of those.
We all know and have known a number of them. On average, they tend to be more charming and charismatic than most people.
Don't know about perky Kellyanne, but given her, and her husband's, behaviors and associations with the dark and slimy sewers of right-wing political operations, I'm guessing the odds are a lot stronger for her than the normal person.
Just given their behavior, I also suspect others who are showing up around the Trump campaign are probably cluster B types (the class of personality disorders that contains predatory and manipulative psychopathy).
In the past politicians whose names we know may have benefited from the contributions of these types to their efforts to gain office for themselves and others, but they don't normally talk to them themselves. That's what intermediaries and cut-outs are for. Trump's likely too dysfunctional himself to care about the reasons for that distancing.
Just as a curiosity, I've read that Kellyanne's husband, who used to work for Judicial Watch manufacturing dirt, dated Laura Ingraham before they got together. The writer described Kellyanne back then as yet another Ingraham type.
